Community Library Instructions
The St Saviour’s Community Library is a simple way of sharing our books with one-another. You’ll find the ever-expanding library at the back of the church next to the Community Freezer. The way it works is simple.
To Donate:
Simply pop your book on the shelf labelled ‘Donations’ and it will be added to the library in the week.
To Borrow:
Pick the book you want by browsing the shelves or at stsaviours.church/library.
Use the tablet to find the book you have selected and tap on it’s icon (you may have to unlock the tablet by using the passcode ‘1234’.
Change the ‘Status’ setting to ‘On Loan’.
Then scroll down to the ‘Loaned to (email address)’ and add in your own email address.
Just below this, add the ‘Date Loaned’ as today’s date.
Exit the entry by tapping the ‘x’ in the top left hand corner.
You’re all done! You’ll receive a reminder email in 1 month asking you to return the book or extend your loan period.
If there’s multiple of the book you want, just make sure you add your email address to the ‘Loaned to (email address)’ field, separated by a comma from the previous address, and move the date to today’s date.
To Return:
Simply pop the book back on the shelf and reverse the above (deleting your email address and clearing the date).
