Chloe

A.I.S.T.D BA/Bsc Hons

Chloe's passion for ballet began at age 3; when her babysitter was ill so she had to be taked to a ballet - this was the first time she sat still, as she was mesmerised! She is fully qualified to put children through ballet exams with a Diploma in Dance Education with the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), and trained in Classical Ballet, Tap & Modern Dance to vocational levels. She has performed with the English Youth Ballet in Coppelia, and Giselle en pointe shoes, and in various folk and rock music videos, a feature film and the Olympics Opening Ceremony. After obtaining her BA/BSc in Contemporary Dance and Ballet at Roehampton Uni, she began her teaching qualification. Since 2014, she comes alive when she’s teaching and inspiring children and adults in ballet at various schools across London, Hertfordshire and Kent. She’s passionate about running community dance projects that make dance inclusive for all backgrounds and to people with SEN, while building communities, and removing the barriers to dance.

Teacher:

Miss Hannah

BA (Hons), LRAD

Hannah qualified with a 1st class honours in my BA in Ballet Education by the Royal Academy of Dance to put children through ballet exams. Her degree is in ballet, contemporary styles, choreography, and teaching skills. She spent a year as an apprentice with Springs Dance Company which involved intensive dance training as well as touring around the UK and Germany performing and teaching. Hannah has had experience teaching people from as young as 2 to old as 82 and loves seeing people fall in love with dance, she has an infectious energy and bright positivity and is very likeable. She has spent 3 years as a primary school teacher but is delighted to be teaching dance again, and using all the knowledge about children to enchance her classes.
